Safe Extraction of Used Dielectric Fluids
Certified MEWA-compliant pumping and purchasing of used transformer oil. We provide fast vacuum extraction, on-site PCB (Polychlorinated Biphenyls) testing, and top market rates for power grid contractors and utility demolition teams across Riyadh.
Safe Power Recovery
Illegal dumping is a massive liability.
Used transformer oil is highly regulated by the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA). Improper disposal, leakage during extraction, or selling to uncertified “gypsy” buyers leaves the utility contractor financially and legally liable for soil contamination.
We provide a fully certified, environmentally secure route to extract and recycle these hazardous fluids, providing you with the necessary legal clearance paperwork.
Dielectric fluid is highly valuable.
Unlike standard used engine oil, transformer oil is an exceptionally high-grade mineral or synthetic fluid. It does not “break down” in the traditional sense; it simply becomes contaminated with moisture and arcing debris.
Types of Dielectric Fluid We Buy.
Different cooling systems use different base oils. We process them all.
Mineral Oil (Naphthenic)
The standard cooling fluid used in 90% of distribution transformers across Riyadh. We buy massive quantities of this degraded oil for re-refining.
Silicone-Based Fluids
Used in high-fire-risk environments. This fluid has a higher flash point and requires dedicated tanker compartments to prevent cross-contamination.
Synthetic Esters
Modern, biodegradable dielectric fluids used in environmentally sensitive zones. We test and purchase these high-end fluids at premium rates.
Substation & Grid Equipment.
We extract fluid from the heaviest utility infrastructure.
Power Transformers
Massive grid-level step-up/step-down transformers holding thousands of liters of oil. We provide continuous vacuum pumping until completely drained.
High-Voltage Switchgears
Oil-filled circuit breakers and switchgears from older substations. Pumping these out is critical before the copper busbars can be extracted.
High-Voltage Capacitors
Legacy capacitors that must be carefully handled and tested for PCB contamination before the oil is purchased and the metal recycled.
The PCB Danger
Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) are highly toxic, cancer-causing chemicals used in older transformers (pre-1980s). Buying, selling, or transporting PCB-contaminated oil without specialized hazardous waste permits is globally illegal under the Stockholm Convention.
Our Testing Protocol:
We test before we pump.
Before our vacuum tankers attach to your equipment, our technicians draw a sample and conduct a rapid on-site PCB test kit. We only purchase and pump oil that tests negative (under 50 ppm). If it tests positive, we will guide you to government-approved hazardous incineration teams.
Vacuum Fleet Capabilities.
You do not need to drain the equipment. Our trucks do the heavy lifting.
High-Capacity Tankers
We dispatch massive tanker trucks capable of holding upwards of 30,000 liters per trip, minimizing the time required to clear large utility sites.
Deep Vacuum Pumps
Transformers contain complex internal baffles. Our high-suction vacuum pumps pull the thick, cold oil from the deepest reservoirs without spilling.
Spill Containment
Our extraction teams deploy heavy-duty drip trays and absorbent booms around the connection valves to ensure zero soil contamination during pumping.
For Grid Modernization Contractors
Riyadh is rapidly upgrading its power infrastructure. If your contracting firm is tasked with decommissioning old substations, managing the hazardous oil is the largest bottleneck in your demolition timeline.
We coordinate directly with your project managers. We arrive on the exact day of decommission, test the fluid, pump it out rapidly, and provide immediate payment so your heavy crane teams can move the empty steel husks.
Why EPC Contractors choose us:
- Immediate on-site PCB verification.
- Digital flow meters for exact volume pricing.
- One buyer for the oil, the copper core, and the steel casing.
We buy the whole transformer.
The oil is just step one. Why hire a liquid waste company to pump the oil, and a separate scrap dealer to take the metal? We handle the entire asset.
How we value used dielectric fluid.
Understanding the metrics behind liquid bulk payouts.
Base Oil Index
Our per-liter buying price is tied to global re-refined base oil commodity markets, ensuring you get a fair, data-driven payout.
Water & Sludge Content
If the transformer was breached and the oil contains massive amounts of rainwater or bottom sludge, the price per liter is reduced to account for processing difficulty.
Volume Efficiency
Pumping 20,000 liters from a single substation is highly efficient for our tankers, allowing us to offer a higher payout rate than multiple small 500-liter stops.

Send Substation Pin on WhatsAppHospital Substation Upgrade
A major hospital in central Riyadh was upgrading its primary backup substation. The contractor needed to remove 12,000 liters of dielectric fluid from the basement-level transformers without spilling a drop, as the hospital was fully operational.
The Solution:
We deployed our deep-vacuum tanker and ran 50 meters of heavy-duty suction hose down into the basement level. The oil was tested for PCBs (negative), pumped out silently overnight, and the contractor received a B2B payment the next morning, allowing them to extract the dry steel husks safely.
Trusted by Utility Engineers.
“The on-site PCB testing gives us huge peace of mind. They test it in minutes, pump the oil without spilling, and give us the MEWA paperwork immediately.”
“It’s so much easier using them because they buy the oil AND the metal. Once the transformer is dry, their cranes take the copper and steel away. One phone call solves it all.”
“Their vacuum trucks are incredibly powerful. They drained four massive step-down transformers in an afternoon. Very professional operation.”
Questions about dielectric fluid.
What happens if the PCB test is positive?
If the fluid tests over the legal limit for PCBs, we cannot legally purchase or recycle it. We will immediately halt pumping and direct you to the specific government-authorized hazardous waste incineration companies that handle PCB destruction.
Can you pump oil out of underground vaults?
Yes. Our vacuum tankers are equipped with high-pressure suction pumps and extended hoses capable of pulling heavy oil from deep underground utility vaults or basement-level substations.
Do you buy the empty steel barrels if we already drained the oil?
Yes. If you have already pumped the oil into standard 200L steel drums, we will pump the oil out of the drums and then buy the empty drums as light iron scrap.
Can you buy the copper inside the transformer?
Absolutely. Once the oil is safely removed, we are Riyadh’s top buyer of heavy copper coils and busbars. We can handle the complete deconstruction of the unit.
