Container Stuffing & Safe Palletizing
Shipping hazardous, heavy batteries internationally requires extreme care. Poorly packed batteries will crush each other, leak acid, and cause container fires or port rejections.
Our yard follows strict export packing standards. Batteries are stacked upright on heavy wooden pallets, separated by thick cardboard layers to prevent terminal short-circuits, and bound tightly with multi-layer shrink film and industrial strapping.
Shipping Terms:
- We supply Ex-Works (EXW) from our Riyadh yards.
- Local transport to Riyadh Dry Port or Dammam seaport.
- We maximize 20ft container payloads (Batteries are too dense for 40ft containers).
Drained vs. Undrained Pricing
A standard car battery’s weight is approximately 30% liquid sulfuric acid. If you buy “undrained” batteries, you are paying for the weight of the acid as well as the lead.

To prevent hazardous spills during local transport, we supply batteries whole and undrained. The pricing per ton is adjusted down accordingly so you are only truly paying for the estimated lead yield. Custom draining can be negotiated for long-term export contracts.

Casing Material

Are your batteries drained of acid before shipping?
By default, we supply batteries “as-is” (undrained) to prevent handling spills in our yard, and we adjust the selling price to reflect the liquid weight. For large, long-term export contracts, we can negotiate pre-draining services.
How do you ensure no Lithium batteries are mixed in?
Lithium-ion batteries are a severe fire hazard for lead smelters. We have a dedicated manual sorting line where every single battery is visually inspected and graded. Any non-lead-acid chemistry is instantly removed.
What is your minimum order quantity for export?
Because batteries are extremely dense, a 20ft container maxes out its weight limit very quickly. Our minimum export order is typically one 20ft container (approx. 20-24 tons depending on pallet configuration).
How do you verify the weight of the load?
The truck or container is weighed on a Ministry of Commerce certified public weighbridge (Tare and Gross). You receive the official printed tickets with your commercial invoice.
Polypropylene (PP) Casing Scrap
The outer shell of an automotive battery is made of high-impact Polypropylene (PP). If you operate a plastic regrind facility or are a smelter that crushes batteries, we can also supply clean PP plastic scrap from our other yard operations.
