Questions about E-Waste.
Do you wipe the hard drives?
We recommend companies wipe their own data before selling. However, if requested, we physically crush and destroy hard drives to ensure 100% data security before the metal is recycled.
Do you buy old CRT monitors or Printers?
We do pick them up as part of a larger corporate office clearance, but please note that printers and old monitors contain very little precious metal. They are priced extremely low, mostly as mixed plastic scrap.
Should I dismantle the computers before selling?
You can sell them as whole units (PC Towers), and we will pay a flat rate. If you have the time to dismantle them and separate the high-value Motherboards, RAM, and CPUs from the low-value steel cases, you will earn a higher overall profit.
Do you buy individual laptops from homes?
We primarily focus on bulk commercial B2B purchasing. If you only have one or two old laptops, the transport cost exceeds the scrap value. We recommend bringing small quantities directly to our yard in Al Sulay.
