Top Market Rates for Copper & Aluminum Cables
We buy all commercial grades of insulated electrical wires. From thick PVC-coated underground copper cables and armored wires to high-voltage overhead aluminum lines and telecom scrap. Turn your project cut-offs into maximum capital with our fair-yield valuation process.
High-Yield Processing
Don’t get cheated on the yield.
Cables are tricky to price because the heavy PVC or rubber insulation hides the actual amount of metal inside. Many buyers will give you a terrible “low-ball” rate, assuming worst-case recovery.
We conduct honest “yield tests” on your specific wire batches. If your cable is 65% copper and 35% plastic, we pay you exactly based on that 65% yield against the daily LME copper index.
Strict “No Burning” Policy.
Burning cables in the desert to melt off the plastic is illegal, highly toxic, and destroys the metallurgical quality of the copper. Saudi environmental authorities (MEWA) strictly penalize this practice.
High-Yield Copper Cables.
Thick, commercial-grade power cables offering the highest copper return.
Single-Core PVC Wires
Thick, unarmored power cables with a single solid or stranded copper core. Exceptionally high recovery yield.
Multi-Core Power Cables
Heavy industrial cables containing 3, 4, or 5 thick copper cores wrapped in a primary outer PVC sheath.
Welding Cables (Leads)
Heavy-duty, highly flexible rubber-coated cables packed with thousands of fine, pure copper strands.
Jumper / Battery Cables
Thick gauge automotive and industrial battery connection cables. High value, easily stripped material.
Armored & Lead-Sheathed Cables.
Complex underground and submarine cables requiring heavy industrial shredding.
SWA (Steel Wire Armored)
Underground power cables wrapped in a protective mesh of steel wire. We price these by calculating both the copper and steel recovery.
Lead-Covered Cables
Older industrial cables or heavy-duty underground lines encased in a thick lead sheath. Very heavy and highly valuable for lead recovery.
Elevator Traveling Cables
Flat, multi-core cables mixed with steel support cables removed during commercial elevator upgrades.
Aluminum & High-Voltage Lines.
Lightweight, high-volume transmission cables from grid upgrades.
ACSR (Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced)
Overhead high-voltage transmission lines. Features aluminum strands wrapped around a high-tensile steel core.
Insulated Aluminum Cables
Thick underground power mains utilizing aluminum instead of copper. Purchased by weight as aluminum scrap.
Triplex / Quadplex Drop Wires
The twisted aluminum cables used to connect utility poles directly to commercial buildings or residential meters.
Telecom & Data Cables.
Lower copper yield, but generated in massive bulk during office clearances.
Cat5 & Cat6 Cables
Standard ethernet and networking cables. Contains very fine copper wiring requiring industrial granulation to recover.
Coaxial Cables
Used for television and older data networks. Contains a single copper core surrounded by heavy shielding and insulation.
Auto Wiring Harnesses
The complex “veins” of a vehicle, pulled by auto wreckers. Features hundreds of tiny wires mixed with plastic connectors.
Fiber Optic Cables
While mostly glass/plastic, heavily armored fiber optic lines contain copper tracer wires and steel shielding that we can recover.
For Electrical Contractors
If your company is executing massive MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) installations in Riyadh, cable offcuts accumulate quickly on your construction sites.
We provide high-capacity skip bins directly to your site. Your electricians dump the PVC cutoffs inside. When full, we pick it up, weigh it at the bridge, and deposit the funds into your corporate account.
Other items we clear for you:
- Scrap Electrical Panels & Switchgears.
- Galvanized Cable Trays & Ladders.
- Dead UPS Battery Banks.
The Yield Test Explained
Not all cables are created equal. If you hand us 100KG of thick power cables, we might extract 70KG of pure copper. If you hand us 100KG of telecom wire, we might only extract 35KG of copper.
We cut a 1-meter sample of your wire, weigh it, strip the plastic, and weigh the bare copper. This exact percentage determines your payout.
The Ultimate Hack:
Strip it yourself!
If you own a small wire stripping machine, remove the PVC casing yourself. We buy stripped Bare Bright (Millberry) copper at the absolute highest, premium LME rates. We will also buy the stripped PVC plastic casing separately.
Data Center Decommissioning
When a prominent Riyadh bank relocated its server farm, they left behind 2 tons of under-floor Cat6 data cables and thick UPS power feeds.
The Solution:
Our specialized IT clearance team pulled the cables, weighed them on portable digital scales in the loading bay, and provided immediate payment. We guaranteed that no cables were burned, fulfilling their strict corporate eco-compliance mandates.
Substation & Grid Upgrades
Are you an infrastructure contractor replacing city power grids? We handle massive, multi-ton utility clearances.
How we price your cable scrap.
LME Metal Index
We check the daily London Metal Exchange rates for Copper, Aluminum, and Lead to set our baseline purchasing prices.
Metal-to-Plastic Ratio
A thick power cable with thin insulation pays more per kilo than a thin telecom wire with heavy, thick insulation.
Processing Difficulty
Steel-armored (SWA) cables or sticky jelly-filled telecom cables require heavy shredders to process, slightly reducing the payout.
We handle massive spools.
If you have entire wooden or steel spools of defective or leftover cables, we dispatch heavy flatbeds with crane attachments to lift the multi-ton spools directly from your factory or storage yard.
Digital Weighing
Because cables hide highly valuable copper, we never guess the weight. We bring portable digital scales for smaller loose batches, and use certified weighbridges for massive industrial flatbed loads.

If you are a homeowner with just a few kilos of household wire or extension cords, the logistics cost to pick it up exceeds its value. We highly encourage bringing small loads directly to our Al Sulay facility for immediate cash, or combining it with heavier items like old AC units for a free pickup.
Trusted by Electricians & IT Pros.
“We generate a lot of thick PVC power cable cutoffs. They placed a skip bin on our site. They swap it weekly, weigh it fairly, and transfer the money. Very smooth.”
“Sold them several multi-ton spools of leftover aluminum ACSR wire. They brought a flatbed with a crane attachment and handled all the heavy lifting.”
“Cleared out an entire office network. They took all the Cat6 cables and the old server racks. Kept our company fully compliant with zero burning.”
Questions about selling cables.
Why shouldn’t I just burn the cables to get the copper?
Burning PVC releases toxic dioxins into the air, which is highly illegal and carries massive fines in Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, burning oxidizes the copper, turning it brittle and black, which significantly lowers the price we can pay you for it. Mechanical stripping is the only way.
Do I get paid for the weight of the plastic insulation?
No. You are paid based on the estimated weight of the metal (copper or aluminum) inside the cable. For example, if you have 100kg of cable that is 60% copper, you are paid the copper rate for 60kg. The plastic is recycled separately at a much lower plastic scrap rate.
Do you buy armored cables (SWA)?
Yes. Steel Wire Armored cables are harder to process, but we buy them. We factor in the recovery of both the internal copper cores and the outer steel armor wire.
What is the most valuable type of cable?
Thick, single-core copper power cables have the highest metal-to-plastic ratio and yield the highest return. If you have already mechanically stripped the wire to bare bright copper, that pays the absolute maximum LME rate.
